Our Sustainability Pledge

At Dragonfly, we feel that your health and wellness shouldn’t harm people or the planet.

We’re determined to run a business that benefits both current and future generations.

That’s why we’re launching the Dragonfly Biosciences Sustainable Development Pledge. Take a look at our three key goals:

Protecting the Planet

It turns out that Cannabis Sativa is a pretty amazing plant, with studies suggesting it can absorb up to 22 tonnes of CO2 per hectare.

It’s good news for the planet, then, because we have 650 hectares alone on our farm. In theory, this would mean up our Cannabis absorbs up to 14,300 tonnes of CO2 every year.

We’re reducing our carbon footprint because governments aren’t the only ones responsible for curbing climate change. Determined to keep the global temperature rise below two degrees Celsius, we’re currently working towards meeting the United Nations “Climate Neutral Now Pledge”.

But we still aren’t finished; in the future, we want to launch a new biomass initiative. This would ensure all our waste stalks and leaves are used to create environmentally conscious building materials and planet-friendly fuel alternatives.

As we’re constantly looking for ways to improve the planet, 90% of our packaging is also widely recycled. Ultimately, we hope to increase this to 100%.

Help us out and be part of the movement!

Give our products a second life by recycling everything but the rubber section of the pipette when you’re done!

Supporting Local Communities

We are committed to providing fair and secure employment to the local communities in which we operate. We strongly oppose modern slavery and pay our agricultural workers a fair wage, to benefit both the farmers and the local economy as much as possible.

But we want to do more.

Help us out and be part of the movement!

We are currently searching for brilliant charities in both London and Bulgaria to help make our local communities a little bit better, one step at a time. If you have a charitable organisation in mind, please contact us via info@dragonflycbd.com.

Additionally, we would like to support academic research into the Cannabis Sativa plant. Our aim is to develop partnerships with British Universities to conduct research into cutting edge biomass technology.

Fairness in the Workplace

We don’t believe anybody should be treated unfairly, and that’s why we’re committed to creating a diverse, equal and mutually respectful workplace. We offer equal opportunity to all and do not discriminate against anyone based on sex, race, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief.

Help us out and be part of the movement!

We are always looking for amazing, passionate and talented individuals, so if you want to join the Dragonfly movement then please get in touch via info@dragonflycbd.com.
