How much CBD should I take per day?
CBD is still very new to many people and one of the most common questions that we receive relates to daily serving size.
There isn’t a one size fits all answer, so we wanted to take the chance to lay out all the information you need to know!
For some people, only a small amount of CBD achieves the desired effect, whereas others will need a much larger serving to be satisfied.
We’ve long recommended beginning with a serving size of between 12-15mg and then scaling this up if necessary.
This ‘scale up’ can be a larger initial serving or more frequently at different times per day. For example, many of our customers enjoy one serving in the morning and then another before they go to sleep, enjoying a total of 30mg per day.
While different people find satisfaction at different levels of CBD intake, as a general trend, we tend to find that the majority of you are happier using high strength CBD Oils. This allows for a greater possibility to increase your CBD intake.
Our advice has always been that although CBD is safe at higher doses per day, we recommend not exceeding 200mg per day.
However, the UK Food Standards Agency have offered new advice on daily limits for CBD. The FSA are recommending that consumers should not take more than 70mg of CBD per day.
Finding your Right Level
The most important thing is to find the level of CBD that suits your needs. By starting at 15mg per day, you can increase your CBD levels easily, as a lower serving might be all that you require!
If you don’t feel the desired effects after a week of continual use, we suggest doubling your serving size and repeating this process each week, until satisfied, up to a maximum of 70mg per day.
